Good evening sir. This is Personality Friday With Mimi. Can we meet you?
I am Lawal Tomiwa Adebayo, known as portrait.
How did you come about the nickname?
I named myself that.
When I looked back to my past and present, I realized I’m like a painted image in white paper, hung on a wall of war.
One day, I believe the world would see it and speak something beautiful about it.
So, what do you do?
I’m an ND graduate in Geology.
I sometimes write and I’m a spoken word poet.
I don’t have a job but hunting to get one soon.
What would you say about the state of unemployment in Nigeria?
Well, it’s not easy getting a job out there, most especially in this time that COVID-19 has become a temporary king.
Sometimes, I don’t believe in jobs but one needs it to get to the peak or better.
Nigeria economy is very poor.
Everybody should fight for himself or herself.
I don’t think our leaders are ready to make something beautiful happen out there.
Therefore, get a skill and if you’re an entrepreneur, do it with all your might.
I pray we all achieve our dreams.
What’s Geology all about?
Geology is the study of health, it encompasses from core to the mantle.
In a nutshell, geology is the study of the earth, for a lay man.
It’s a very wide discipline.
