Personality Friday With Mimi

“..put our mind to what we really love and not change because our parents don’t support what we like” Fiyinfoluwa Adewumi

Good Evening ma. This is Personality Friday With Mimi. Can we meet you?

Good evening.
Yes, you can!

Your name, school and any other thing we need to know?

My name is Fiyinfoluwa Adewumi.
I school in Abuja.
I run Folumedia.

Folumedia!
What’s it all about?

Folumedia is a brand that has a lot at its best.
We are into
Adverts, marketing, brand management, social media management, events planning, investments and general marchendise.

That’s an huge task!
How do you manage to cope without it affecting your education?

I run Folumedia with the help of 5 other people.
So, running it is not a big task!
I get to go to school and still have a lot of time to do my work.

That’s cool!
The way a lot of people go into media these days like a child’s play is making we on the road confused. What’s your own definition of media?

Actually, I started the whole thing as an entertainment stuff but in 2018, I had to change from entertainment to media after I took WhatsApp adverts and media management as part of my job.

Uhmmmmmm..
Folumedia didn’t start in a day! I love that!

It didn’t start in a day!
And I have not even gotten to the level I hope to reach.

That boss lady feeling!
So, what keeps motivating you?

Well..
Should I say I wanted to be a mad ass blogger as well back as 2015..I always looked at Ikeji and am like “If she can do it, why can’t I?”

Have you ever got to a point you felt like quitting?

Never ever has it occurred to me.
The only thing I do is to try new things if I don’t see positive results in the previous one.

What’s your say about the COVID’19?

The spread of this virus is scary.. too scary.
With the work the health officials are putting towards the virus, I hope we would be able to get a lasting solution very quickly.I would advise everyone to keep to the preventions. Let’s wash our hands regularly. Please, let’s stay indoor.

The death toll is getting really high around the world.

What do you have to say to other youths out there?

I would only want to advise us all to put our mind to what we really love and not change because our parents don’t support what we like.
