Good Evening sir. This is Personality Friday With Mimi. Can we meet you?

I’m Okedeji Akinwumi Ishola. A student of English and literary studies in Tai Solarin university of Education.

How would you describe leadership?

Leadership🤓🤓🤓 Leadership is a thankless job. No matter how good or committed you are, you will still be criticized. Leadership is a great task that requires the wisdom of God.

What inspired you to go for a post in the Student Union?

Hmm ….

Well, when a man is yet to realize what he’s on earth to live for, he’s not even worth to be living. I realized lately that the best way to live is to live not only for urself but to be useful to others.

As a representative of your College at the Senatorial level, how has it been?

It’s been stressful and full of different challenges but the best thing I have been enjoying so far is service to humanity (selfless service).

Uhmmm..
We’ve heard about how active you are. How do you manage to meet up with your academic?

Lols… I have been asked this question severally. Unionism can never be a reason for you to fail, it can only be a challenge to you. Moreover as a real human being, you really need to learn how to multi task.

What would you say about leaders who use their post for personal interest?

Hmm… Well, no matter how perfect you may be, there are sometime you just need to use it for your personal interest but to be sincere, a real leader won’t use it for his personal interest. A real leader’s interest will be granted without him using any power.

What do you have to say to other youths out there?

Our tasks are different, kindly find it out and live to fulfill it.
